ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES FOR AU PAIRS

St. George's is the only school in Worthing and surrounding areas offering English courses for Au-Pairs.

 

At St. George's we offer English courses for Au-Pairs at a special rate.  Option to attend Part Time or Full Time. 

English classes are geared towards achieving a professoinal qualification in English. Exam preparation is included with an option to sit the Cambridge Exams B1 (PET), B2 (FCE) and C1 (CAE). Exam fee not included.

Focus on what you need.  Tell us what skills you feel you need to improve on, we will ask you to complete a checklist and a goal sheet to ensure we meet your English language needs and design your lessons around your requirements and goals.   We will work on your goals with you and work towards not only achieving them, but exceeding them.

  • Reduced rates and registration fee for Au Pairs (proof of being an Au Pair might be required i.e. letter from the family)

  • Option to attend between 2 and 5 mornings per week only

  • Online grammar test before you start (or come in to take the test), followed by a more detailed assessment of your language abilities by the teacher during the first class  

  • Regular progress check and one to one consultation with your teacher

  • Homework and self-study guidance

  • Material is provided, extra material is always available on request, course books not included

  • End of course certificate and an individual written report provided

Format: Part time (minimum 2 mornings per week)

 

Lessons per week: minimum 8 lessons of 45 minutes per week 

 

Cambridge exam: optional

 

Timetable: Monday to Friday, from 09.30 till 12.50 (one 20 minute break)

 

Location: St. George's Worthing located in the town centre

 

Levels: PET (B1), FCE (B2) and CAE (A1) / from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced

 

Duration: Minimum 1 week+

Excursions and social life


Studying at St. George's is not just about studying, find new friends and make unforgettable memories with them here, at our social outings or explore famous sights.  We offer a wide range of excursions at special student prices.  You have a chance to visit many different places such as London, Brighton, Arundel, Chichester, Portsmouth, Lewes, Oxford, Windsor and Eton, Cambridge and Greenwich, Stonhenge and Bath, Isle of Wight, Statford Upon Avon, Leeds Castle and Canterbury.  London musicals, theme parks and Warner Bros. Studio Tour (Harry Potter) are also available.  We also have over the weekend excursions to places such as Dublin, Edinburg, Paris, Bruge and many more. Consider booking your excursions in advance to secure your place.  All excursions are with a guide.  The full information is available in our office so come and speak to us.
